Roberto Juarez @ BMOCA

I was recently lucky enough to travel to Boulder, Colorado for one week.  I enjoyed this show of Paintings and Prints by Roberto Juarez at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art.

I especially enjoyed his process of transforming small collages into large paintings.  This summer I will be taking a painting class, and intend to employ that technique.

 Obviously the colors are very vibrant.

 I also like the optimism in the compositions.

 I think I enjoy this photo of the girls looking at the art more than the painting in question.
